Bolo manufactured by Fayette R. Plumb of St. Louis, Missouri. Blade nicely marked: PLUMB St. LOUIS 1918 U. S. MOD 1917 C. T. Blade and ricasso still show some of the original black finish. The finish has drag marks from the tight fit when blade is removed from scabbard. The leather tip of the canvas scabbard sleeve is deeply marked: FRED MEDART MFG CO. 1918 Wood grips totally original and chip crack
