Original U.S. WWI Model 1917 Bolo Knife with Canvas Scabbard- by Plumb Dated 1918 Japanese Awards Medals Badges Insignia Tags on the inside read:Original Item: Only One Available. Model 1917 C. T. Bolo manufactured by Fayette R. Plumb of St. Louis, Missouri. Blade nicely marked: PLUMB St. LOUIS 1918 U. S. MOD 1917 C. T. Blade and ricasso still show some of the original black finish. The finish has drag marks from the tight fit when blade is removed from scabbard.
