Original British WWII RAF Bomber Bubble Sextant Mark IXA in Bakelite Wall-mounted Case - dated 1942 U.S. Holsters the 132nd was inactivated atOriginal Item: Only One Available. This is a very nice British Air Ministry marked Royal Air Force Bubble Sextant Mark IXA, in very good condition. These were used for night time navigation about WWII Aircraft, such as the Avro Lancaster Bomber, and others. It comes complete with its wall mounted Bakelite Case Transit chest, which would be carried on board the plane, and then mounted to the wall by the Navigator station. The side of the sextant is
