Constructed of silvered and gilded tombak with multi coloured enamels, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the top and bottom by ribbon, surrounding a gilded oval medallion bearing a red enameled German national eagle clutching a rifle, flanked by a black and white enameled bullseye target defaced by a mobile swastika, circumscribed by an inscription of KRIES SCHIESSEN KUFSTEIN
