A Letter from Napoleon with Orders for his Minister of War, 1810 Buy Now measuring 11 cm (w) xThis short, five line (one line redacted) handwritten letter is dated 12 October 1810 and signed by Napoleon Bonaparte. He writes to Monsieur Le Duc de Feltre, Minister of War, instructing him to order one of the line infantry regiments of his guard to go to Saumur. Attached to the bottom left corner of the parchment is a small note, confirming that the letter was received on 13 October and handed over to M. Gerard that same day. Measuring at 18. 5cm
