A cut back in the headstall gives comfort for the backside of the ears. Bridle comes with BOTH a wide leather noseband and soft rope noseband as well as the reins. Bridle can also be converted for use without a noseband at all (just tuck the strap for the noseband into the elastic keeper on the cheek piece).
