This particular very peculiar weapon was made around 1840, probably in Birmingham although W.& C. Scott had Shops in both London and Birmingham. The Shotgun is 12 bore with Damascus Twist barrels, which have Birmingham Proofs on them. Unlike most percussion shotguns
