This is a magnificent U. S. Revolutionary War Era German Dutch Flintlock Jger rifle, intended for front line "hunter" troops. These were among the earliest rifles widely in use, and were very often later converted to percussion. This example however was not, and still is in the original flintlock configuration. It has a fantastic "set trigger" setup, which works flawlessly. It is also quite a bit larger than the usual
