MAJOR A. D. C. ATd. H. E. I. C.). Naming has been shaved and privately re engraved in capitals. In silver, measuring 36. 2 mm in diameter, dark patina, contact marks, pitting, edge nicks, bruised, original ribbon, better than fine. Footnote: The Sutlej Medal was approved on April 17, 1846, for issue to officers and men of the British Army and Honourable East India Company who served in the Sutlej campaign of 1845
