A Prussian Pickelhaube Plate for Reserve Personnel consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac overseeing the crossing of forces(Preuen Helmadler fr die Pickelhaube fr Mannschaften der Reserve). Constructed of gilded and silvered brass, unmarked, measuring 13 cm (w) x 11. 5 cm (h), demonstrating tarnishing throughout the base metal and the loss of all of its attachment prongs, in very fine condition.
