Constructed of zink, on loop for suspension, the obverse bearing a raised depiction of a mountain topped by a flag, situated within a pebbled border joined at the top by an inscription of KAUKASUS 1942, the reverse bearing a raised Geneva Cross overlaid by an edelweiss, situated within a pebbled border, unmarked, measuring 35. 09 mm in diameter, weighing 13. 0 grams, a scarce example in better than
