Constructed of gilded bronze, a round medal, the obverse depicting Milo Obili in armour and inscribed with his name, the reverse with a cross, with crossed swords and a laurel wreath, inscribed centrally with For Bravery, on a fixed pierced ball and swivel loop for suspension from its period original triangular ribbon,
