Original British Brown Bess Musket Swan Neck Cock- Circa 1796 Caps & Hats we found a couple ofOriginal Item: Very Few Available. These are third Model Brown Bess Flintlock Swan Neck Hammers (cocks) with top jaw and screw dating from circa 1790 to 1810. These are absolutely 100% original English manufacture, supplied to the British East India Company at the close of the 18th Century. Found in Kathmandu, Nepal in 2003, these were "left over" from British Brown Bess Muskets converted to percussion cap system in 1839. These are the earlier style
