Known as the Model 1939 American Service Shoe these low quarter boots were also called walking out boots by USGIs. These were standard issue to US troops serving in the Army and Air Force at the start of the WW2, eventually replaced by the rough out boot. This pair in excellent wearable condition boot is made from russet brown leather with leather toe cap and a two piece stitched in rubber sole. Worn in combat
