Bogle first served with the 36th Infantry Division before being transferred as Captain of a company of the 115th Infantry Regiment, 29th ID. We found a newspaper article stating that he (Lt. C. E. Bogle) was awarded the Bronze Star and Purple Heart, and that he is the son of Mr. and Mrs. L. J. Bogle of
