Japan, Empire. A Second War NCO’s Pilot Badge visually-hidden 1914 Star (20385 SAPR: FIn bronze and bronze gilt, illustrating a five pointed gilt star in the centre backed by emanating rays, framed by arching copper gilt feathered wings on either side, with chrysanthemum petals at the base of each wing, a two bladed propeller placed horizontally at the base, measuring 35. 94 mm (w) x 50. 95 mm (h), with vertical pin on the reverse, overall gilt loss on the wings, contact marks, very fine.
