Musa itinerans Burmese Blue Dicliptera Yellow toadshade is usually foundMusa itinerans 'Burmese Blue' is a form of Musa itinerans from northern Thailand where it makes 18' tall trunks and spreads underground via long stolons. Because of the elevation at which Musa itinerans 'Burmese Blue' occurs, it has shown good winter hardiness in our trials, sailing through 5 degrees F in the winter of 2013 2014 with no protection. Reportedly, when Musa 'Burmese Blue' matures, it produces nice purple bananas we'll see.
