Germany, Heer. An Officer’s Dress Dagger, Infanterie-Regiment 47 With Hanger, By Alcoso Archive he received the Knight’s Cross(Heer Offiziersdolch mit Anhnger). An extremely well preserved Heer Officers dress dagger, measuring 395 mm in total length when inserted into the scabbard. It features a 260 mm long polished magnetic steel blade with a sharpened tip and edges. Acid etched onto the obverse of the blade is an inscription of DAS UFFZ. KORPS. D. 7 J. R. 47 (THE NCO CORPS OF THE 7. KOMPANIE, INFANTERIE REGIMENT 47), while the reverse bears an inscription of HAMBG. D. 26.
