This very nice Brazilian M1880 Cavalry Saber was most likely released in 1976 from military stores in Rio De Janeiro, along with a lot of other now obsolete edged weapons. It is in very good condition, with only storage wear, and almost no sign of actual use in the field. The blade surface is clean and bright, without pitting and is unsharpened, displaying only a tiny bit of staining along its 31 1 2 inch length, and
