Germany, Wehrmacht. A 1939 Clasp to the Iron Cross, Second Pattern, Type B by B.H. Mayer visually-hidden while two horizontal loops stitched(Wiederholungsspange 1939 zum Eisernen Kreuz II. Klasse 1914, 2. Form). Reinstituted 1 September 1939. (1940 1945 issue). Constructed of silvered tombak, the obverse consisting of a Wehrmacht eagle perched on top of a wreathed mobile swastika, situated above a trapezoidal plaque bearing a date of 1939 on a pebbled field, the reverse retaining all four attachment prongs connecting to a period original ribbon, maker marked with LDO code L 18 for B. H.
