The frame is constructed of heavy card stock with a textured faux red leather exterior. The obverse lid is decorated with a gold embossed royal crown and initials of King Carlos I, with detailed embossed borders. The interior of the lid features a padded, red, satin type liner embossed with a makers mark of Joaquim Augusto Da
