Polished Golden Amphibolite GA155 Noreena 1 billion yearsGA155 Golden Amphibolite rock, cut and polished on one side with a rough, natural back. Dimensions at widest points approximately 120 mm x 60 mm x 35 mm thick. Weighs 259 grams. The amphibolite, most likely grunerite , has now been largely altered to hematite, goethite and quartz and it displays a beautiful golden iridescence. Also called "Gold Leaf Stone". It occurs in the Pilbara region of Western Australia on Abydos Station approximately 120 km
