This is a rather interesting memento from WWII. This small yellow water basin was one that was from a survival kit on an Aircraft life raft. The basin was recovered by a Sailor from the U. S. S. Bucyrus Victory during the rescue of a downed aircraft crew. According to the war diary entry, the names of the crewman rescued are as follows: LT Bowman USNR: Pilot H. W. Waters: Aviation Chief Radioman H. A. Nappes:
