Original U.S. Pennsylvania Short Percussion Rifle with London Trade Lock - circa 1840 Percusion Muskets Altogether twenty-six clasps were awardedOriginal Item: Only One Available. Built using an imported percussion "Trade" Lock mechanism marked LONDON WARRANTED, this sporting gun is really quite nice to look at. It appears to be smooth bored despite its heavy octagonal barrel, however it shows significant use. The rifling may have worn away over the years, or it was possibly smooth bored to make it into a training gun, possibly for a child or an early teenager. The Barrel length is 26 1 2
