This is a gorgeous Civil War Era powder flask featuring a decorative pattern on the exterior. The flask was made by James Dixon & Sons of Sheffield, one of the major British manufacturers of the Industrial Revolution. The flask measures approximately 11 long, one of the larger examples we have seen. The cap still screws on and off without issue, and the spout functions as intended.
