This is a lovely, nearly unissued condition example of a Trench Gun ammo pouch. This would have been used to store loose shells that would not have been able to fit on a bandolier or ammunition belt. This example does not have the loops on the inside to better secure the shells. The inside flap is marked: J. Q. M. D. 1945. The button snaps are the lift the dot style and both function well. The condition is excellent
