A French Somaliland Order Of Nichan Al-Anouar; Knight GTRexclude enamel chipping on the redA French Somaliland Order of Nichan al Anouar; Knight Silvered and gilt metal with enamels, marked "METAL" on the ring, 46 mm x 65. 8 mm inclusive of its crown suspension, original ribbon, intact enamels, gilt wear spot on the reverse, light contact, near extremely fine. Footnote: The Order of Nichan al Anouar (Arabic: Order of the Light) was established in 1887 as a colonial order of merit of the Tajurah sultanate in French Somaliland.
