Greece, Kingdom. An Order of the Redeemer, Knight consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac Type II with small "43"( ). Instituted in 1883. In silver and enamels, Maltese cross in white enamel set on a green enamelled laurel wreath, obverse centre shows Jesus surrounded by Greek inscription, reverse shows white cross on a blue background surrounded by Greek inscription, inclusive of crown suspension 54. 0 mm (h) x 35. 6 mm (w), on original blue ribbon, evidence of chipping on obverse and reverse white enamel, near very fine condition.
