Winkelmann, Hermann - Signed Cabinet Photo as Tannhauser, 1905 Records Signed his operatic career has encompassedGerman tenor (1849 1912), famous for, among other things, being the first Parsifal at its permiere in 1882. Great cabinet photo by R. Krziwanek, Vienna, shown as Tannhauser, dated in 1905 at the end of his career (he retired from stage in 1907). Tannhauser was one of his most famous roles. Size is 4. 25 x 6. 5 inches, in very good condition
