This is a nice example of a Georgia made Confederate Enlisted Mans Cavalry Sabre, most likely made by Louis Haiman of Columbus, Georgia. The sword has typical features seen with the sabres made by his manufactory, such as long tapered unstopped fuller, curved handle, and single iron wire wrap on the handle. Of note are the forging flaws near the ricasso of the blade, one of the indicative features of a Georgia Made
