Ship's Cook, Third Class John Paul Nicholas served in the United States Navy between 1930 and 1936 aboard a number of ships concluding his service on the 1st of December 1936 aboard the USS Arizona. This was his photo album during his service in the USN. The cover of the album features a full color printed fabric depicting the USS Arizona Battleship at sunrise above which it reads Photographs and below U. S. S. Arizona.
