Frank Cornelissen 'Susucaru' Terre Siciliane Rosato IGT, 2024 dry creek valley Nose: Cinnamon rollsThis wine is a blend of Malvasia, Moscadella, Cataratto, and Nerello Mascalese. A true "clarete" wine, blended with red and white grapes, instead of a ros, which is made exclusively with light pressed red grapes. Farming is all organic and the grapes are hand harvested. The Susucaru Rosato is a wonderful combination of orchard fruit nectar, wild red berries, and slate like minerality. We would pair it with a fresh and crunchy veal milanese.
