Original U.S. WWI Kerosene VESTA Trench Lantern by R.E. DIETZ Lewis Gun The ChauchatOriginal Item: One Only. We seldom see U. S. Trench equipment since the time enjoyed by our visiting Colonial cousins was so short having only decided to help in 1917. This however is absolutely terrific! Made by the R. E. Dietz Company in the U. S, this is one of the VESTA "hi top" model lamps, introduced in 1907. Standing about 11" tall, the original glass is marked U. S. and DIETZ VESTA, NEW YORK, U. S. A. After WW1, the VESTA models were shortened
