Description

slightly moist soil is best

The wavy green-leaf clump to 15" tall (the shortest form of Crinum macowanii we grow) serves as a nice foil for the 2' tall flower spikes that adorn the plant from late May through August (NC)

The 2' tall stalks emerge in spring from knobby white rhizomes and expand

This clumping selection is superb as a deer-resistant woodland groundcover for spring color

Agave weberi Streaked Kniphofia slightly moist soil is best(Agave weberi PDN002) This fascinating streaked form of the mysterious Agave weberi (never known in the wild) was shared by renowned California agave breeder Kelly Griffin. The large blue leaves are heavily streaked with irregular yellow bands. In containers, this century plant maxes out at 3' tall x 5' wide but, in the ground in milder climates, Agave weberi streaked should grow much larger.
