Constructed of zink, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel and oak leaf wreath, with a central swooping Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, marked with the logo of maker Gebrder Schneider, Wien, measuring 65. 81 mm (w) x 53. 37 mm (h), weighing 43. 4 grams, in near extremely fine condition.
