This is an excellent example of the Model 1891 Argentine Mauser rifle, one of many "export" models made for foreign governments, all based on the Mauser Model 1889. It shows signs of only light use, and really looks great! The stock even has some fantastic "flame" figuring on both sides, particularly on the butt stock, which we rarely see! This example, like all of the Argentine Mausers made before the end of 1897,
