Original U.S. WWII Excellent Condition M1916 .45 Colt 1911 Leather Holster by Sears - dated 1942 Brown Bess Muskets Between 20 July and 15Original Item: Only One Available. This is a very rare totally original M1916 holster, made by Sears Saddlery Co. of Davenport, Iowa, in excellent condition. It shows very little sign of being used, with just a bit of wear on the interior. It is marked SEARS 1942 on the back, and embossed U S in an oval on the flap, indicating that this was a military issue holster.
