Original U.S. WWII Carl L. Norden Inc Excellence in War Production Award Silver Ashtray by Tiffany & Co NATION lining in friction areasOriginal Item: Only One Available. Rare sterling silver ash tray that measures 1 1 4" x 5 1 4", with a scalloped edge, marked on the base as being manufactured by jewelers Tiffany and Company. Applied within the bowl are four enameled brass pins, each depicting an eagle and anchor over a sailing ship surrounded by fourteen stars, bearing the legend "E (Excellence) FOR NORDEN. This celebrates the receipt of the Army Navy "E" Award for excellence in war
