Very possibly from just prior to WWI, this is a magnificent Officer's Bearskin Helmet with white feather hackle to side and gilt flaming bomb Regimental Helmet Badge with blue enamel back ground. It bears the Motto HONI SOIT QUI MALY PENSE (Evil to him who evil thinks) around a gilt Tudor Rose to center. Comes complete with very supple black leather head liner and brass chained chin scales. This is all contained in its
