Original German WWI Leather Fire Brigade Helmet - Tropau Ordnance 5" yataghan style bladeOriginal Item: One Only. Turn of the century pickelhaube style leather body with brass front and rear peaks with brass trim and fittings. Lion's head side bosses. Front badge reads Freiwilliger Tropau Feuerwehr Background symbols of profession include crossed axes, ladder and ropes. Full leather lining is still intact. Circa 1890 to 1900. Condition overall is very good. This is an unusual and very attractive item. Offered in very good condition.
