Things like this only come along with the death of a die hard Collector, and such is the case here. This is a proper old series percussion lock Horse Pistol in . 75" musket bore, which would knock over any evil doer. It dates from 1835 to 1840, very very early for the British Police force. The Lock, which looks like it was converted from Flintlock, is in fact manufactured in this style and has always been percussion.
