the latter bearing an inscription of “EHRENKREUZ DER FELD ARTILLERIE” (“HONOUR CROSS OF THE FIELD ARTILLERY”)

An Army Medal of Honor, Type VI (1964-present) Archive A Verdun Memorial MedalIn bronze gilt with green enamels, measuring 39 mm (w) x 57. 5 mm (h) inclusive of its eagle and VALOR suspension, engraved "THE CONGRESS TO" on the reverse of the suspension, on a period original full length neck ribbon with horizontal octagonal thirteen star cravat pad sewn in place, triple snap closure, intact enamels, traces of gilt wear, near extremely fine.
