Germany. A 1942 Krakow District Shooting Medal With Case Archive Blennerhassett was awarded the Distinguished(Krakau Schieen Medaille). Constructed of feinzink, obverse depicts central German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika with inscription KRAKAU 1942, circumscribed by raised inscription of MEISTER DES DISTRIKTS GENERALGOUVERNMENT (MASTER OF THE DISTRICT, GENERAL GOVERNMENT), unmarked, measuring 50 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition, accompanied by its period original case, constructed of heavy cardstock with faux brown leather
