This is an excellent example of a genuine British Mark II steel helmet, which is dated 1939 on the chinstrap bales. The underside of the helmet is marked F&L 284 1 19 indicating manufacture by Fisher & Ludlow of Birmingham. The liner has no markings, which we havent seen before.
